A quick rant about the inverted cross post:
I reblogged it because I feel as though the person who wrote all that out had a very valid point.
However, I think it is absolutely hilarious how seriously people take symbols. Symbols are one of the most impossible things to define, because each culture— including each time period of said culture, have given SEVERAL distinctive meanings to these symbols.
The inverted cross may be...

I have a lot to say
I guess i’m rambling on and on a lot tonight.
Anywhoo,
I think it’s time to set some rules for myself, artistically. Moleskine and other sketchbooks are being restricted to limited color palettes. Why? To practice color theory and schemes, and to focus on design and line than worrying about finished products.
The end. Time to go paint, will update later.

the interesting thing about tumblr
Is that unlike other blogging platforms, Tumblr allows its members to become a community. But even more interesting than that is what happens within this community. Aside from the immature persons who decide to anonymously dictate other people’s lives and purposely hurt feelings, a lot of what you see throughout the community is post after post about things every human being can relate to.

Differentiations; let's get some things straight.
People always tell me that copying is the biggest form of flattery. Similarly, people say that hate is just another form of love.
This argument may be legitimate, though I have to say I completely disagree.
Although it is nice to think that you are being copied because someone likes aspects of your creation and thought-processes enough to do so— I think it is much more important to focus...

(re)current dreams
of swimming in the ocean. it seems so effortless. I glide weightlessly through the waves that come towards me, but my speed remains constant… and suddenly, i’m in the middle of nowhere; no land in sight.. just me and the waves.
the ocean is my biggest fear.
but in my dreams, I am one with the ocean.

I had a strange dream.
In a dream I had last summer (2010), I dreamt about my new classes in college. It was the first day of school, the campus was unfamiliar, and I had to find my way around the huge crowds of people. But of course, it was a dream, so the campus and people were fictitious, and no school is designed the way this one was designed in my head; nor were the classes I was taking in my dream, ones that I...

7 things
I’ve decided to start posting some facts about myself, or just some random things that will help you get to know me better. So here we go:
1. I never liked the way hairdressers cut my hair, so I have been cutting my own hair since I was 13.
2. I hate having freckles and dimples.
3. I learned how to play the piano when I was 5 (my mom is a piano teacher), and the guitar when I was in the...
